Performing Arts Worthing

RSOPA loves to encourage  imaginations of children and teens who love to perform. Our Performing Arts Worthing Programme is designed to help students  discover what they are good at, through dance, drama and singing.

Helping you be your best is our priority. We have weekday classes available, as well as our weekend Theatre Group Academy for those passionate about performing.

All our students have the option to perform in our annual school show, CELEBRATE, which is staged at The Assembly Hall. This is an optional extra for those who would like to take part.

Classes we offer:

Weekday Performing Arts Classes

If your child loves to perform, and you wish to place them in a weekday class, we have lots on offer!

Please call or email us to discuss your child’s requirements.

Our general performing arts class in MUSICAL THEATRE, however, there are also a HOST of other classes which will suit those who love to perform!

Weekend Theatre Group Academy

Our Performing Arts Academy is a great way to try something of everything and to be a part of an annual Musical!

Students ages 5-13 are welcome at all abilities. Each session is divided into dance, drama and musical theatre/singing each week, which culminates to a performance at the end of each term for parents and friends to come and enjoy. There is also an option to then be a part of a show version in a local theatre (at additional cost). We have a 3-tier option table, which allows parents and students to select the service they require.

The programme runs on a Saturday morning from 10.30am-1.30pm.

RSOPA Community Theatre Group and Girlband

Our award winning community theatre group is full of young people who LOVE to perform.

This is an additional option for children in our Theatre Group Academy and for Girls in our UNICORN GIRL BAND

Being a part of the theatre group or girl band is an extra commitment and is a big one: the members perform most weekends. They love it, but due to the high volume of events they perform at, we do have a tough contract in place to ensure we have a tight team.

We are always on the look out for new members, so do give us a shout if you would like to be a part of the troupe!

We virtually guarantee we have something for you at RSOPA. If you love to perform, give us a call or an email to arrange a trial.

RSOPA has become a special and safe place for my daughter to grow in so many different ways. The confidence she has gained from her weekly classes is amazing, the friendships she has made over the years will always be special and the experiences RSOPA  have
given her to perform and be a part of in the community will be with her forever . Thank you guys for for all you do .
